Christmas Tree Recycling available Saturday and Sunday | Events

 

Ascension Parish Government will hold a Christmas tree recycle drop-off  event on Saturday, Jan. 12 and Sunday, Jan. 13 at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center in  Gonzales. Drop-off hours will be from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m. The expo center is located at 9039 St. Landry Road.  Parish officials said trees must not have any decorations or stands on them. Parish  residents are required to provide a valid ID.  After entering the expo center’s main gate, signs will direct residents to a roped-off dropoff zone in the parking lot in front of Arena D.    For more information about the Christmas Tree Recycle Drop-Off, call 225-621-5753.  Copyright 2013 WAFB.
