Hebert named Elementary School Counselor of the Year | Events

The Ascension Parish School Board recently recognized Oak Grove Primary School counselor Jan Hebert. Hebert was presented with a plaque acknowledging her recent award for being named the Louisiana Elementary School Counselor of the Year which acknowledges excellence in school counseling.

Hebert, who has been a school counselor for more than 14 years in the Ascension Parish Public School System, is the first  elementary school counselor to receive this award. Pictured (from left to right) are school superintendent Patrice Pujol, Hebert, and supervisor Linda Honey.
